Why I am building it
Neverwinter combat logs contain useful information, but raw logs are difficult to read during actual gameplay. I wanted a local-first tool that could help players understand damage, healing, support, target focus, encounter timing, and session history without forcing everything into a confusing spreadsheet.
What I worked on
- Windows-first desktop app direction and local-first workflow.
- Live combat log tracking and recorded log review requirements.
- Encounter, session, party, damage, healing, support, and target analysis structure.
- Readable chart direction using tables for comparison and graphs for patterns.
- Parser quality principles around correctness, uncertainty, and diagnostics.
This is an ongoing personal product. The case study is framed as active work, not a finished commercial product.
